Robert J. Weissenberger, 95, of La Crosse passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Hillview Health Care Center.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, La Crosse. Reverend Rick Roberts will officiate.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

I have special memories of Bob and his wife Genevive, when I was her Personal Care Aid I witnessed his devotion to her and a fun, loving couple….to his family, you have my sincere sympathy and prayers. Blessed be the memory of Robert J. Weissenberger

Dear Patty, Sherry and Sandy, I am so sorry to hear about Bob. I have fond memories of stopping at your house and have coffee with Bob and Gen. I’d come to the door and Bob would yell upstairs “Gen, Dickie is here. Then here she came poured coffee and lite up a smoke. Then Bob would say “For Christ sake Gen, do you have to smoke so early in the morning”. They were quite the couple. Great people. I’ll miss them as I’m sure you will. I wish I could be there but I’m out of town. Regards, Dickie
