Henry “Hank” Paul Prelozni- 92 of La Crosse, passed December 6, 2023 at Brookdale Assisted Living in La Crosse WI.
Hank was born December 28,1930 in Arlington Heights IL to Stephen and Josephine Prelozni. He spent his childhood in Waukesha, WI.
He Joined the US Army, January 1951 as a Mechanic Battery Maintainer. Basic training at Camp McCoy in WI. He went to Kansas to Mechanic School. He was stationed in Wurzburg, Germany. He was honorably discharged January 1954.
After discharge he married Mary Miller. They eventually moved to La Crosse where he worked and retired in 1990, after 30 years as a Commercial estimator for the Radford Company. He and Mary moved to Eagle River WI wintering in Tucson AZ. They moved back to the area in 2018, residing in Houston,MN and La Crescent,MN.
Survived by Daughters- Pauline Prelozni and Mary Ellen (Jim) Freisinger, Grandson -Derek (Jamie) and Great Grandchildren -Amara, Edyn, Izra, Orin, Ulten . Sisters- RoseMary and Jo Ann. Sister-in-Law Joan and many loved Nieces and Nephews.
Also his fishing and hunting buddy- Don Koss of Melrose WI
Hank was a true outdoors-man he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a avid Green Bay Packer Fan. He was a long time member of Ducks Unlimited and Whitetails Unlimited, and The American Legion Post 52 .
He is proceeded in death by Wife Mary, Brothers-Stephen, John, Alex, Tony , sisters Mary Ann and Lillian, and Parents.
