Obituary for Doris R. Wateski
Doris R. Wateski, 72, of La Crosse passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born January 15, 1948.
Doris spent her school days attending Holmen, but she graduated from Logan High School.

She will truly be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Wateski; and her parents, Robert Rossman and Helen (Wolden) Miller.
Services will be held at noon Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Green Mound Cemetery in Holmen.
In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated.

Doris was my first high school sweetheart. I remember driving around Logan High School at lunch time and she’d standing on the corner with her friends and pretend to smoke a cig but of course she didn’t smoke but she liked to tease me. and years later after returning from a tour of duty in the army her Step dad Hank would always say to me play fraulein and we’ll make Doris mad. and it would. She was a great caregiver in her profession and she even took care of my dad at St Anns. We grew up a block from them on the north side of Lacrosse so I knew the whole family. I know her and her Son Bobby are hanging out now and watching over us….Rest In Peace Doris…Dan Berger.

My sympathies to the entire family of Doris. I went to school with Doris in Holmen and I remember her with fondness, a sweet person with a smile on her face
